In a powerful blend of science, culture, and flavor, Tabchilli took center stage at the 43rd Sharjah International Book Fair, hosting a 7-day educational series on fermentation and gut health. Across the week, founder Maher El Tabchy and the Tabchilli team led over 14 live workshops, offering hands-on guidance on how to ferment vegetables and drinks-from sauerkraut and kimchi to kombucha and probiotic teas.

This wasn’t just another food demo. It was a public health mission disguised as a culinary experience.

As one of the Middle East’s most prominent literary and cultural events, the Sharjah Book Fair attracts hundreds of thousands of attendees. Tabchilli’s presence-unconventional, raw, and refreshingly educational-stood out.
